Windows and doors,
built ironclad.
Draft-free, quieter, warmer. Made to fit every opening in your home, from an owner-run Pittsburgh company.
Measured to your exact openings. Quoted in writing, line by line. No pressure to sign that day.
Same house.
Brand new face.
Rendered illustration of windows, a door and siding we install. Not a customer project.
How an Ironclad window is built
Every part, made for one opening.
No stock sizes. Each window is built to the measurements of the opening it fills.
Fit tight. Feel it the first cold night.
A square, snug fit seals out drafts and helps hold the heat in through a Western PA winter.
Quieter inside.
A sealed, well-fitted window keeps more of the street outside, where it belongs.
Opens like the day it went in.
Sashes sized to the frame open, close and lock easily, with no sticking or rattling. Backed by a lifetime warranty.
Six ways to open up a room.
Every style custom-sized, in White, Coal Black and dozens more colors, with woodgrain finishes inside.
Double-hung
The classic. Both sashes tilt in, so you clean the outside from inside.
Casement
Cranks wide open to catch a breeze. Seals tight when it is shut.
Sliding
Glides side to side. No crank, nothing to fight. Great over a counter.
Picture
No sashes, no grids. Just the biggest, clearest view in the house.
Awning
Hinged at the top, so you can let air in even in a light rain.
Bay & bow
Pushes the wall out for more light, more room and a seat by the glass.
Doors that close right.
And lock tight.
Fiberglass and steel entry, sliding patio, French and storm doors, fitted so they open smoothly for years.
Coming spring 2027
Then, the whole outside.
Siding joins the lineup in spring. Ask about it at your window or door estimate and plan the whole house at once.
Big-name quality.
Without the big-name pitch.
Many of the biggest names in home improvement are owned by private equity, where every job has to feed investor returns. Ironclad is owned and run by the people who stand behind the work. You pay for your project, not someone's balance sheet.

Questions, answered.
Is the in-home estimate really free?
Yes. We measure, show you product and color samples, and leave a written, itemized quote. There is no pressure to sign that day.
Do you use stock-size windows?
No. Older Pittsburgh homes rarely have standard openings, so every window is made to the exact measurements of its opening. That is what gives you a square, snug fit and smooth operation.
Will new windows help with drafts and cold rooms?
A precise fit seals out drafts and helps hold heat in through Western PA winters. At the estimate we look at where the cold is coming from, room by room.
What warranty do you offer?
Our work is backed by a lifetime warranty. The full terms are written into your quote.
Are you a national chain?
No. Ironclad is owned and run by the people who stand behind the work, with 35+ years of combined owner experience in home improvement. It is not owned by private equity.
Do you install siding?
Siding (vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood and board and batten) joins the lineup in spring 2027. Ask about it at your window or door estimate.
